Assessment

At the Camp Pendleton Library we take the quality of our programs very seriously. We strive to provide fun and educational programs and resources for you and your family. Each one of our programs is evaluated on a regular basis to make sure that it is meeting the high standards that we have set for our programming. Our story times are assessed by attendance and educational quality. Our head librarian looks over each story time plan to make sure that it meets the educational requirements to provide a developmentally appropriate program based on age groups for your child. We also make sure that parents and caregivers are happy with what types of story times we are providing through our monthly surveys. And of course we also want to make sure that the children are having fun!

Our other programs are also evaluated through surveys and attendance. We track the number of people who attend our programming events to gauge the interest level in what we are providing. We also ask that our patrons fill out surveys every few months to find out what people think about the upcoming programs. We also ask for feedback on new programming ideas and what we can do better. Our number one priority is to provide you and your family with quality programming that people of all ages can enjoy!
